How to Use CouponsHelper in FireFox:

  • 1. In Firefox CouponsHelper displays any available coupons in a bar at the top of the page, while you are browsing the internet.
  • 2. To get more details about a coupon all you need to do is hover over it.
  • 3. Click the coupon you want to use: this copies the coupon to your clipboard.
  • 4. Paste the coupon into the coupon code box when you reach the shopping cart, and start saving money.

 

Customizing CouponsHelper Notifications

Couponshelper displays any available coupons in a bar at the top of the page, while you are browsing the internet.

To get more details about a coupon all you need to do is hover over it.

Click the coupon you want to use: this copies the coupon to your clipboard.

Paste the coupon into the coupon code box when you reach the shopping cart, and start saving money.

Customizing CouponsHelper Notifications

  • 1. Go To: Tools> CouponsHelper>Preferences
  • 2. Market: From the drop down menu select your preferred market
  • 3. Browser notification:Select when you want to be notified about coupons being available on the site you are looking at.
  • 4. Other Preferences. Check the boxes according to how you want Couponshelper to notify you.

 

Further information about notification settings

Market: Currently Couponshelper caters for the USA's and French markets. This setting simply selects which sites you will get coupons from according to the region. The Marketsetting is not a country setting. If you live in Europe and wish to purchase items from US based sites, the ideal setting would be USA or Auto. Auto is automatically set according to your browser settings.

Top browser notifications: You can choose when you want to see the top of page notification bar. Select your preference from the drop down bar.

Animate icon on hits: This setting sits in the top corner of your bookmark bar. When coupons are available it flashes between our pig and coupon coin icon. From this you can also click the drop down button to view the coupons available.

Show in Status Bar: CouponsHelper can display coupons in the status bar at the top right corner, by hovering over the CouponsHelper logo.

Show in Tools Menu: Coupons are also displayed in the Tools menu of your browser. Go to Tools > CouponsHelper and view coupons there.

Show in context menu: you can also view coupons in the contextual menu by right-clicking anywhere on the page and hovering over couponshelper in the menu. If you hover over the coupons listed, you can also get info about the coupon and what it can be used for.

Show in menu next to discount field: Right click in the discount field and get available coupons here.

Show message notifications: small slider notifications can also be displayed when coupons are available.

Show notification when a code is copied to the clipboard: This is helpful for you know that you definitely have the code in your possession for pasting into the discount box.

Customising CouponsHelper Chrome Notifications

Click the wrench icon on the right side of the balloon notification to change the position of the balloon notification or disable it altogether. Bear in mind that changes here will affect all balloon notifications, including email and chat notifications.

Setting a timeout or disabling notifications

To set a timeout or disable CouponsHelper balloon notifications completely, right click on the wrench at the top of the URL bar, go to 'tools', 'extension', find couponshelper and click 'options'. A pink page is opened. Uncheck the "Display desktop notifications when coupons are available' option or simply set a shorter autohide time setting from the "Autohide notification" drop down menu.
